This week was good for me. I got a job in Digital. I am planning to join work on 1st April. I am little apprehensive about how my kiddo would be. At the same time, I am excited.
Today my article on Aspect Oriented programming in ASP.NET got published in the ASPToday site. It is very nice to see my article in the home page!
I am proud of the fact that I utilised my break period in the best way possible.

An average Indian driver has zero patience while driving. HE is always busy. When HE sees a block ahead, he rushes towards the spot and clutters the block. More people clutter, the situation worsens. Now starts the honking phase. All the people just blow their ears apart.
While driving, suddenly he feels that he must turn right. Zook.... he turns right. The vehicles behind him brakes one after the other. HE is not bothered. If possible, he turns back and jeers at them.
HE is not bothered about lane discipline. the whole road is his own. HE can drive however HE likes, wherever HE wants.
While waiting at a signal, when the signal turns green, HE starts honking - irrespective of whether HE is in the front of the line and at the last.
Anyway, HE enjoys his ride. Others suffer. Unfortunately, the number of others is very small.
Since George is hospitalised with chicken pox, I have been watching a movie a day for the past few days. The ones I liked are Last Samurai, Rainman and Runaway Jury. I would say that Last Samurai would have been better if it was a bit shorter. But it is ok. Tom Cruise has done a good job. He has wonderfully shown the dilemma inside his character Algren. Hoffman is terrific in RainMan. He is so good that when I saw him in Runaway Jury, I was wondering why he is looking normal!!
This blog is created using BlogBuddy, a small windows blog-editor. I got hold of it from SourceForge. A real cool application. It is very useful for blog sites who do not have HTML-Text editor.
It also offers spell-checking with the help of another site.
But I noticed one problem. This app does not let me give atitle for the blog. It just takes the first few wordsof my blog as the title. Also, I cannot assign my blog to any specific category.
Today we noticed a few boils on his skin. He was feeling slightly feverish also. In the evening,we went to Manipal Hospital and he was tested positive for chicken pox. He decided to stay in the isolation ward. He is in the same room as Rijo. Hope he comes out of it soon.
We saw that movie today. Hopeless one.. No story.. no effects.. no suspense.. no nothing. IMDB has given rating 4.4 out of 10. I guess even that is too much. It comes under the genre of thriller. Wonder what is so thrilling about it. There a lot of loop holes in the movie.
BSNL people came and installed their DIAS(Direct Internet Access Service) facility today. It is working fine. The technical skill of the technicians who came to installwere amazing. It was cool.
I checked the speed using CNet Bandwidth meter. It gave 64 kbps. Much better.
Today my friend came to shoot a few clippings of her dancing as a part of making a demo CD for her new class. It was a good time. I could suggest some steps which would look good in the video. I just went back to my college days when I used to learn and practise Bharatanatyam. I have written a write-up for a brochure of her dance school. It was well-appreciated.
