Fate and prayer- are they not contradictory?
When a person is in deep trouble, people say "Pray to God. He will solve all your problems and make you happy." When the trouble worsens and he reaches a dead-end, the same people say "Its all fate. Nothing can be done.". If you believe in prayer, then God can change everything to suit you. Then fate has no relevance. If you believe in fate, then no prayer can change it. Then why do people take this twin-stand?
