Philips Campus - Bangalore
Philips Software Centre Private Ltd is building its own campus in Bangalore. This building is not fully completed. The division to which I belong (Medical Systems) have already moved here.

Philips towers Murphy Road
This is the other campus of Philips. As the new campus gets over, all the divisions from this campus will move to the above campus. This is a campus build by RMZ.

Google Earth recently enhanced the level of detail in their database for Bangalore, India. Which mean, now I can spot my apartment on the map.

I have uploaded the Google locater here.

I tried to map the route that I normally take to reach my Philips office. With the tools available, I can even measure the distance. It is quite obvious that my current route is not the most optimal, at least when you look at it from above.

The level of detail available here allows one to look for alternate paths.

The second path is about 3.5 km shorter - but I will have to go through a lot of mud road. But if I take the trafic congestion into account, this route can prove to be useful.
